A
Visit to Rennes-le-Chateau
This tiny hamlet in the Languedoc (Now made
famous by Dan Brown et al) was a
delight to visit with Robert and Pauline Hughes while we were staying with
them in April 2007. Berenguer Sauniere, the hamlet
priest, having been exiled there, managed to live in luxury for some 30
years after having (reputedly) found something very important and religious.
He never let on what it was, but the splendour lives on.
